A safe and welcoming place.
Children and young people
Children under 13 years of age are not allowed to sit in the Open Circle. Children between 13 and 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Young people aged 16 to 18 may attend without parental guidance but must show maturity. Young children can attend Divine Service with their parents or guardians.
Smoking, vaping and behaviour
Smoking, vaping, alcohol and drugs are not allowed in the church. Smoking is permitted outside, away from the main doors. Both toilets are fitted with smoke alarms.
We have zero tolerance for alcohol, drugs, or abusive and aggressive behaviour. Committee members, volunteers, visiting guests and members have the right to feel safe and respected. We take safeguarding seriously: providing a haven for everyone, including vulnerable people, is an essential part of the church’s protocols.
Christmas closure & reopening
The Circle of Light on 17 December 2026 is the last meeting of the year. The church closes on 17 December and reopens on Sunday 3 January 2027.
